01Overview
Wivexx is a visual studio and software brand based in Orlando, Florida. We try to collect as little personal information as possible and to be clear about what we do collect. We do not sell your personal information.
02Information we collect
- Account & contact — your email address when you sign in (magic link) or book a session, and any details you provide in a booking or message.
- Your Content — posts, comments, canvases, and files you create or upload.
- Google account data — if you connect Google Drive in Wivexx Studio (see section 03).
- Usage & device — basic, largely anonymous information such as pages visited and approximate performance, used to keep the service working.
- Local storage — game settings, language, and session state stored in your browser (not on our servers).
The multiplayer game rooms run without an account and without a database — they pass game state directly between players in real time and do not store your gameplay on our servers.
03Google user data (Wivexx Studio)
If you connect Google Drive, Wivexx requests the drive.file scope, which grants access only to the specific files and folders you pick. We use this access solely to display, organize, and process the media you add to your canvases, and to create the exports you request.
Wivexx’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI/ML models.
04How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the service and respond to you.
- To process bookings, send confirmations, and (if you opt in) occasional updates or deals.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.
05YouTube API Services (Higher or Lower)
The “Higher or Lower” game uses the YouTube API Services to retrieve public information such as video titles, view counts, thumbnails, and channel names. By using that feature you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We cache this public data briefly to limit requests and do not use it to identify you.
06Service providers we use
We share information only with vendors that help us run Wivexx, under their own terms:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Google — Drive connection and API services you choose to use.
- Resend — sending transactional and (opt-in) marketing email.
- Twilio — sending booking confirmations and (opt-in) marketing text messages.
- Anthropic — powering Wivexx AI features for text you choose to process.
07We do not sell your data
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
08Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your account data, and you can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time via the link in any email or the unsubscribe page.
09Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing (for example under the GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA). To make a request, email hello@wivexx.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
11Children
Wivexx is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12International users
Wivexx is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data-protection laws.
